Veitchi Value Winter Warmer Appeal helps Glasgow Charity PEEK!
The Veitchi Group have been collecting jackets, wellies, toys and clothes for our Winter Warmer appeal for the PEEK charity https://www.peekproject.org.uk/ which is based in Glasgow and who’s mission is to improve the chances of children and young people through engaging with them in play, creative arts and personal development. Charity Donations 2021
During 2021 the staff and company, although restricted in their fundraising efforts due to Covid, haven’t stopped trying to raise money for worthy causes. We continue with our successful GAYE scheme, which celebrates it’s 21st birthday this year. Contributions made by staff via their salaries, are matched pound for pound by the company. We have also continued with dressing down days at our Cambuslang office where staff pay to dress down on the last Friday of every month.…

Following our appeal to support BREAST CANCER and PROSTATE CANCER by designing and selling branded polo tops the Group have raised an amazing £1780. Adopting, now illegal, pressure selling techniques our team of Mel Reid and Kiera Munro sold 89 shirts beating our target of 50 by a long way. The final piece of the puzzle has been inserted into the the Kilbryde Hospice Jigsaw which now takes pride of place on the wall within the Kilbyde Kafe.
