Fond Farewell After five years of service the Group are disappointed to announce the departure of Gedas Barodica the Group’s Digital media manager who is moving on to pastures new. Gedas transformed Richardson & Starling’s digital media presence as well as assisting other Group companies with website and other digital activities. Who could forget the 2017 Centenary #Veitchigives campaign which was Gedas’s brainchild and of course the Splashy Painting which raised so much money for charity.

Paul Gillan. A Sad Loss.
It was with great sadness that the Group learned of the passing of Paul Gillan a floorlayer with the company for the last 49 years. Paul had been ill with prostate cancer since 2014 and unfortunately lost his battle with the disease two weeks ago at the age of 65. Veitchi Value – Louisa Jordan Hospital
Veitchi Flooring was delighted to contribute to the construction of the Louisa Jordan Hospital at the SECC Glasgow. Responding instantly to a request from our Main Contractor partner Robertson Construction the team laid 13,000 square meters of Polyflor slip resistant vinyl in just 4 days. Working 24 hours per day in shift patterns we were able to complete our part of this fantastic project quicker than expected enabling other trades to get involved sooner and allowing the two-week overall build to be met.
