The Veitchi Group have been collecting jackets, wellies, toys and clothes for our Winter Warmer appeal for the PEEK charity https://www.peekproject.org.uk/ which is based in Glasgow and who’s mission is to improve the chances of children and young people through engaging with them in play, creative arts and personal development.
The Group supported this last year and on top of collecting the gifts we have donated £500 in cash to the appeal.
Jim Stewart and Jacqui Haggart visited the centre to hand over the presents and observe first hand the PEEK team at work parcelling up and distributing to many needy kids and families right across the Glasgow area.
Chief executive Michaela Collins was delighted with our gifts and will be visiting the Group in the New Year to explore other ways in which we can help the charity.
