The Veitchi Trade School have come to the aid of Bridge of Allan Sports Club installing a new gym floor and carpeted bleachers in the club. Hostelling Scotland a registered charity (formerly SYHA) were delighted to receive over 1000m2 of carpet from the Veitchi Group. The carpet was donated to the charity when the need was communicated by Sabine Mackenzie Director of operations at HS. Jim Stewart the groups NED heard of the request and the carpet previously designated for sale was instead gifted to HS. We are delighted to announce the arrival of Rosie Irene Ross.  Daughter of Hannah Spice, Administrator at R&S Dundee, and her partner Shawn. Rosie was born on Thursday 12th June 2025 at 04:12am, weighing 6lbs 15oz. Both Rosie and Hannah are doing well and all at Veitchi send them our very best wishes for the future.  

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Hannah Jones Davidson.  Daughter of Craig Davidson, Senior Surveyor at R&S Glasgow, and his partner Gill. Hannah was born on Wednesday 28th May 2025 at 23:09pm and weighed a very healthy 8lb 7oz. Both Hannah and Gill are doing well and all at Veitchi send them our very best wishes for the future.

It’s with much sadness that we say a fond farewell to Mike Cook after 38 years and 7 months of service to Richardson and Starling. Mike through the years has worked out of Branches in Aberdeen, Perth and Dundee seeing many changes during his journey, Maps to GPS, Phone boxes to Mobile’s, single roads to due carriageway. Veitchi Group would like to show their support to Howard Peebles, who joined the company late 1966 as Group Accountant and was quickly promoted in 1970 to Group Financial Director. Then held that role until his retirement on 31st July 2003.  Howard then continued to have links to the company until 2018, when he then retired as Chairman of the Group Pension fund. Veitchi Group celebrates their Staff Christmas Party at Stirling Court Hotel.  Great day had by all with various celebrations on the day of Long Service Awards, Special Recognition Awards & Games. Veitchi Group are now in partnership with Glasgow Children’s Charity Hospital. A charity that provides life-changing equipment, support, and services to children and families across Scotland.
