Role

We are now looking to employ an Assistant Estimator to become part of our team.

Full Time/Permanent – Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 17:00pm & Friday, 08:00am to 16:00pm.

Job Description

Fully embrace the companies Customers 1st campaign by continually seeking ways to improve how we serve and engage with our customers.
Prepare accurate pricing based on Bill of Quantities, drawings, and performance specification
Demonstrate knowledge of estimating and take-off software applications.
Ensure all tender submissions are submitted accurately and on time.
Taking an active role in Supply Chain Management to ensure relationships are developed with key manufacturers, suppliers & subcontractors.
Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager.
Work collaboratively with the Contracts Management and Quantity Surveying teams to ensure the commercial viability and success of projects.

Knowledge, Experience & Requirements

Experience in a comparable Estimating role within a contracting organisation preferred.
Ability to solve problems by acting on own initiative.
Esire to progress with a forward-thinking organisation.
Able to show track record of performing within a performance management environment.
Experience working with estimating & take-off software applications.
