The Veitchi Trade School have come to the aid of Bridge of Allan Sports Club installing a new gym floor and carpeted bleachers in the club.
The job was an excellent opportunity to give experience to our apprentices whilst aiding sport in the community and using up redundant stock.
James Stewart, club treasurer stated how appreciative the club were to obtain such a high-quality floor and installation helping the club to maintain its facilities at the highest level and promote sport in the local area.
Derek Johnston, master tradesman said that it was an excellent job to teach first year apprentice Callum Robertson many of the skills he would require to become a time served floor layer. The job included vinyl’s and carpets, screeding, floor prep and the logistics of dealing with a live sporting environment.
Well done to both for an excellent job.
