Hostelling Scotland a registered charity (formerly SYHA) were delighted to receive over 1000m2 of carpet from the Veitchi Group.
The carpet was donated to the charity when the need was communicated by Sabine Mackenzie Director of operations at HS.
Jim Stewart the groups NED heard of the request and the carpet previously designated for sale was instead gifted to HS.
Sabine said that the carpet had been put to good use reflooring hostels, lodges and staff quarters and had afforded the opportunity of a well overdue facelift in these areas.
The Group are delighted to support such a bastion of the Scottish Tourist industry.
