The annual Veitchi Value Step into Summer challenge has ended and well done to all the ‘’athletes’’ of Veitchi who participated in this year’s step challenge and helped make the competition such a success. We managed to accumulate 11,504,804 steps between us all during the month of June – WHAT AN EFFORT!

A special congratulations to Caitlin and Brian, pictured above who won a day off and a £500 donation to their chosen charity of YAMS, You Are My Sunshine, the mental health and well-being hub based in Newarthill library. Of her partner Caitlin said that, “Winning wouldn’t have been possible without his insane walks, sometimes clocking up over 57,000 steps in one day!” – Further proof that you don’t have to be mad to work here but it helps!
