At an awards ceremony held at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London Veitchi Interiors won the award for the euroform sponsored best UK Steel Framed System for their work at the Holiday Inn Express in Edinburgh. Following on from our success of previous years the team produced an exceptional project catching the judges eye with its innovative problem solving and environmental efficiency.
The judges commented “Using this type of system there is Zero Waste and site waste was reduced to an absolute minimum.” Further they said, “A pre-panalised system requires less transportation and involves fewer emissions and off site construction ensured tight tolerances and high quality. The extension was tied into the existing building in far less time than a conventional build.”
The award was collected by Chris Lewis and Nick Winton who had to mind their P’s and Q’s as they were presented with their award by Gyles Brandreth of countdown fame. A big thank you to the FIS team for organising another fantastic day and congratulations to all award winners and contributors for some exceptional project work.
