Veitchi Interiors have recently completed the internal fit out works at The New Bute School of Medicine, University of St Andrews.
The project involves the construction of a new Medical Sciences Building (MSB) for the University of St Andrews. The works comprised a building which is generally 4 storeys high and includes a 300 seat lecture theatre, general teaching rooms, multi purpose laboratories, exhibition areas and cafe. The gross internal area of the building is approximately 11,000m2.
This project included the Installation of over 30,000m2 of British Gypsum ‘Gypwall Extreme’. To date this is one of the largest installations of this partition type in the country.
Gypwall Extreme is British Gypsum’s ultimate impact resistant partition for use where extra durability is required above and beyond Severe Duty.
Our fit out works also included the installation of Optima glazed partitions, Folding Acoustic partitions, smoke curtains and various fire protection products.
